Marbled Godwits at Tokeland

We’re for the birds!

The Shoalwater Birders club began May 22, 1999 because there was no birding club in existence on the Long Beach Peninsula at that time. We remain a group that has fun watching and sharing the wonderful variety of avian species in our area, as well as other bird-rich locations.

The Public is welcome to come to our meetings held on the second Wednesday of January, April, July and October, at 7:00pm, at the Library at 1308 256th Place in Ocean Park. Each meeting features a speaker or presentation of special interest, such as local experts Ann Musche, Mike Patterson and Sharnelle Fee of the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, Alan Rammer, and speakers from NOAA and COASST.

Meeting and speaker information is also announced in the Community Calendar section of the Chinook Observer newspaper.

Dues are $12 per person per year and each member receives the monthly newsletter.  For a printable membership form, click here
